TV shows and movies have always been about couples trying to connect, and this year the first-ever TV show exclusively for those looking to do just that is coming to BBC America.
On Monday, the CW’s The CW series The Wedding Dress is to premiere on BBC America for the first time.
The wedding dress that’s been made for couples has a backstory, and it starts out as a gift to the bride, before being returned to the groom, who wears it to the wedding.
“This is not a conventional wedding dress.
This is the bride’s wedding dress,” said The CW showrunner and writer/executive producer Sara G. Davis.
“It’s not just for the groom.
This wedding dress is for the bride.”
Davis says she hopes viewers will be attracted to this new twist on traditional wedding dress because it allows couples to express themselves more freely than they would have in a traditional wedding, even if it is in the form of a dress.
“It’s an intimate wedding.
The wedding is a little bit more intimate.
It’s a lot more about intimacy,” Davis said.
They’re married and they’re together, and the one thing that’s going to be really fun for them is just to be able to say, ‘Well, I got this dress.'””
