From a foreign builder’s perspective, it’s all about setting up.
For example, a Chinese builder may build a house in the United States but it won’t have the same sort of infrastructure or facilities that the owner of a U.S. house would have.
“The Chinese are not going to build a home in a house built in China,” said Peter J. Kostin, president of the National Association of Home Builders.
“But they will build a very nice house.
And then they’ll sell it back to the Chinese, and the Chinese will buy the house and it’ll be in a beautiful house that they’ll love.”
